School Holidays

Start on the 1st December will be the school holiday throughout Brunei Darussalam. Still even with school holiday their are assignment need to be work onto, the assignment for the first holiday semester given was IGT assignment and Final project proposal, which will be due date on the school reopen in month of January. For me as in-service been appointed to the school, even within the school holiday without holiday leave permission from the work office, I still need to attend to work back as usually worker in Muara kem. So with that I have to arranges my scheduled on doing my assignment and doing other things at home while I have free time on doing so. Hope everything will be doing well in this holiday.

School sport days

School sport days were last for two days at Padang Belapan, Mukim Pulaie, started on the 27th November 2012 and last on the 28th November 2012. Challenges from all technical school come down to the field participate the event to race up to be the champion for the school. SVSB as the event home host for the event have tried they best to make the top list. Some other school like IGS, sekolah perdangagan and others have join to take part in the event to fill the empty slot of the track. Hoping there will be more challenges on the upcoming sports event in the nearest future. 

Teacher Sports Day School Event

On the 26th November 2012, was the teachers sports day event where all teachers were call out to attended the event in the school hall. There are many activities done at that time such as game draw and guess, back kick ball and many more. The event may only last till 12 noon but most of the teachers enjoy the event and hoping there will be more for next years to come.

Majlis Tazkirah Awal Tahun Hijrah Dan Menyambut Saudara Baru MKJB

Pada Hari Sabtu, 10 Muharram 1434H bersamaan 24 November 2012, Penuntut Sekolah MKJB telah melangsungkan satu acara Majlis Tazkirah Awal Tahun Hijrah dan Menyambut Saudaran Baru dari salah seorang penuntut sekolah berkenaan yang telah di adakan bertempat Masjid Kampong Pandan. Acara ini telah dijalankan apa awal pagi hari berikut hingga selasai. Acara ini di langsungkan dengan sembahyang sunnat berjemaah, ceramah undangan dan diteruskan dengan penyambutan saudara baru. Dengan ini berkembang lah dengan adanya saudara baru bagi Umat Islam dalam sekolah MKJB.

Phase Test Results

With the end of phase test 1 examination, I'm still not doing well with it. All I just end up have the passing mark instead of getting credit on every subject. Still I'm very grateful with it but not enough to be what I want with it. I expected to do well on the up coming examination.

The phase test 1 has started on the 3rd November and will shortly end on the 17th November, Wish all for the best of all in the exam. Here is the timetable for the exam.

Unexpected, weird and strange thing happen

Today morning after MIB class subject, we will be having Workshop Theory and Engineering Material subject by Sir Saini, but due to some other matter Sir Saini wasn't able to teach us the lesson so he give us free time to do own work and revision for the upcoming examination. During that class I was wandering around the classroom to see my classmate do their work without expecting something. At the same time I wasn't feeling well, I got weird react and feeling throughout my body. My body feel burning from the inside but I not ill and weird scent of feeling always make me wanna go to restroom. On my way to my seat I notice my bag wasn't there, I search around classroom corner to back but still isn't there, I went out to gaps some fresh air due to weird scent of feeling through my nose makes my stomach feel wanna pour out. while outside the class I notice the store door was open, it was just on the next room of the class, so I went in to check out if there was my bag hidden but still no sign of it. 

On the way out of the store I got snap to the part of my bag and see it was really outside the classroom, resting next to the library door. But without haste thinking I just leave it there and went to the restroom for a bit, after finish from the restroom I went back to the class pretend I don't realize about my back and wander around the class, till the General Engineering Knowledge subject lesson by Sir Ashraf, I ask Jannah about my bag playing alone the pretend I don't know where, so I get to know who hid it. There someone went to see it and have it back but the bag wasn't there, I thought it was still part of her prank, with unfeeling well I haven't got much to do nor talk, soon after the class I did check it out and surely it wasn't there, I got blank in mind feel a bit out rage and unthinking able of what had happen, keeping the stress not to let it out noticeable for my classmate I keep in down with silent.

After what happen I try to keep myself together and think maybe misplace to other place. During lunch time after having break I went for a search but haven't found it, under stress and unwell I end up laying down on my table side till the coming class lesson start. The next lesson was Mechanical Science and we having it on the LT room. with silent I drag myself to the class and have my seat. While doing the exercise given I got Strange feel make me went to restroom again, so I take my permission to go out and head to the restroom. While in the restroom I got some strange feeling surrounded me, taking for a while in the restroom I wash my hand and face before going out. Just outside the restroom I heard voice asking "is this your bag?" somehow like that, I turn and grab the bag notice it was my bag with still unwell feeling, I try to ask where did it found but no one was there, chill bone runs through my body. With feeling grateful nor happy I went back to the class with mind still thinking who give to me? That is how I got back my bag....

Fire Marshall Course

As one of the BKP in MKJB, I was given Fire Marshall Course which only take for 3 days, the course start from 8th October till 10th October 2012. The benefit given by the collage to the BKPs' to take parts for this course is to give us the knowledge and handling of fire control in case there is a fire happens within the collage. This also give me an opportunity to learn more about Firefighter Department, how they are organize, equipment and fire drill orders.

On the first day we were given introduction of Firefighter Department in Brunei, their visi and misi, basic knowledge of fire class, types of extinguisher, and fire hydrant drill orders in the morning, while in afternoon we were given demo about hoses, on how to carry it on shoulder, laying out the hose, pour out water from the hose and roll up the hose for secure.

On the second day of the course we were given task on fire hydrant drill order, which consist of 4 person in 1 team with provided equipment of 3 roll of hoses, stand pipe, key and bar, nozzle, and belt. This task was given from morning till afternoon, where in the morning we only do the task without the running water (dry task) and in the afternoon we do it with running water (wet task).

On the last day, short examination given to us to verified our knowledge on basic knowledge of Firefighter Department and classes of fire. After the examination we were given tour to parts of the building, how do their work and give out a try out in sliding down on their sliding pole, where in case of any emergency of fire call their will go down by using sliding pole. After the tour we were given knowledge about their equipment and tools use found within the Firefighter Truck. In the afternoon with no impediment on the weather we continue the activities with the flying fox, Extinguish fire with portable extinguisher and lastly as the closing of the course with forming the foam.

For those three days of course with all the activities their given, knowledge on basic firefighting and with all great hospitality their shown and given to us, we all enjoy the course till the end. Hoping will be given chances again in the future.
